Competitive Daily Rate - 12 Month Contract
We are seeking three experienced Cyber Security Engineers. The successful candidates will work on a long-term project for one of our main clients in the insurance sector. You will be responsible for ensuring the security of our client's systems and data, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing security measures.
Responsibilities:
- Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
- Identify and define system security requirements.
- Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs.
- Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
- Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
- Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
- Understand complex technical issues and manage them within a fast-paced business environment.
- Work closely with the team to validate security protocols and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
- Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols.
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods.
- Experience in developing and documenting security architecture and plans.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies, and methods.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple manner.
- Experience in the insurance sector is a plus.
