Department Info
Our ICT department, operating from Belgium is a shared service center that provides IT services to Terumo's internal and external customers across the EMEA region. One team focuses on Infrastructure, Operations & Security. The other team focuses on Applications, Enterprise Architecture & Analytics.
Job Summary
As part of the ICT department and in close cooperation with the Technical Application Management Team, the main responsibilities of this function are to provide accurate, timely and appropriate administrative and technical support to TE and TE staff in all subjects with ICT Infrastructure, compliancy & licensing.
Though Terumo Europe is an EMEA wide organisation, we are looking for a Belgium based candidate to work 50% from our HQ in Leuven, Haasrode.
Job Responsibilities
Manage the technical applications part of ICT applications at TEMEA
- Collaborate, coordinate & cooperate in the daily management for TEMEA on Microsoft Office 365 application suite (E.g. TEAMS & Power Platform)
- Challenge and coordinate problem analysis and - resolution of the outsourced technical support groups related to Microsoft products
- Provide technical advice and guidance to the technical application management team to ensure smooth ICT operation and support based on ICT policies, procedures and guidelines
- Guarantee up-to-date documentation of related applications in scope
- Develop IT technical application knowledge: Ensure to be well informed about evolutions and developments related to the Microsoft suite
- Work together with the team member ‘Microsoft specialist’ on the Microsoft Office roadmap and jointly lead the MS tactical & operational governance teams
Support Project management
- Participates in the design, development, implementation, installation and testing of Extranet/Intranet/Internet applications & technical applications to ensure obtaining cost effective and appropriate application systems with respect to all technical application management best practices
License Management
- List, report & optimize the Terumo software license stack which are mainly Microsoft & SAP, but also less used applications
- Propose license optimisations and improvements
- Collaborate & coordinate with the ICT Strategic partners to obtain a full software compliancy
Communication
- Act as a central point of contact between business representatives, end users in headquarter & branches and IT with regards to the delivered services
- Organize & lead regular operational meetings aka site reviews with (foreign located) business units & sales offices
- Report on above meetings and propose and propose & help to implement improvements
Training
- Work together with HR Learning & Development and Corporate Communication on End User training for the Microsoft enabling technology stack such as Office 365 and its components, SharePoint, TEAMS, Power Platform etc…
- Work together with HR Learning & Development and Corporate Communication on End User training for the TEMEA developed products based on the mentioned Microsoft enabling technology stack
- Act as secondary point of contact on End user questions & incidents regarding the mentioned Microsoft enabling technology stack
Profile Description
- A Bachelor degree or equivalent through experience in a similar role
- At least 2 years’ experience within a similar role
- Excellent communication & document writing skills
- Ambitious and relentless to build world class ICT support
- Pro-active & customer centric attitude
- Team player
- Well organised
- Good working knowledge of English (written and spoken). Active knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
